I think since the year 2005/06, erm, after JC2 and beginning of army year 1, i stopped going to any countdown parties or any gathering on 31st december. I don't know why. I think I'm starting to get old. You know, majority of the old people dislike noise and crowd, so they prefer to stay at home, watch tv and eat dinner. I thinking i am old!

No matter what, i thought the life i led in 2010 was peaceful. Nothing seriously bad happened to me, everything went good less the small little grudges and temper i flared to the people around me. I seriously think my EQ went up, by little. I think i started to learn to take things in stride. I admit i did complain, but i did it in my heart. Ok fine!! i did gossip to some of my friends to vent the little frustrations, but at least i didn't go face to face with the one i had problems with. That's probably the one i gained throughout the whole 2010.

What i wish for in 2011 is of course, world peace. Seriously don't laugh, i think this world is getting very hellish. Don't know what's wrong with human beings. I'm not criticizing anything, but i think the only thing human and earth creator did not do well when he/they created the universe is to make human beings kind and evil-thoughts free for life. Whatever it is, i hope 2011 is a smooth sailing year for me and you, less quarrels and grudges, higher IQ and EQ and bigger heart!

I was amazed that this english man could be well known as a noble man in china during the japanese occupation period. Knowing this person through the movie, he simply gained my utmost respect after the show. It was hard to believe that an english person, who had no obligations to save the chinese orphans, was willing to stay and help the orphans to regain their motivation to live. I must say this is a fantastic show- no 3D, no special effects, no superhero, only a man of a golden heart.

Hogg came to this village, with all the boys orphans staying there. These orphans lost their family during the war, and were left in the village to self destruct. Hogg taught them to read, play and motivate the children to be able to put their past down to live on. However, because the place was soon be invaded by the japanese, he had a plan to move their kids 1000 kilometers up the Silk road to Shandan, a place near the Gobi desert where they could live peacefully. Sadly, the two elder boys who were special to him had to end their lives during the journey- one hanged himself and the other seriously injured and had to die in the cold. Nevertheless, he was able to bring the remaining 60 boys to Shandan and reside there. His experiences with the boys were genuine and special, which many of us could not have it in this modern society. The filming was great, though the actor's chinese can be further improved. But i admired the actor to have to speak in Mandarin for half of the show, less his acting time with the other adult actor and actresses.

Unfortunately, he had to die because of a tetanus infection, and the place was 500 miles away from the city which medicine was available, so he died after three days, living the kids back there to continue their lives. It was surprising that some of the kids were still alive till now, almost near 80 years old. I must praise the producer of this movie to be able to find them back to do a tribute for Hogg. It was a feeling beyond description to see how these old men now are still as grateful to this passionate man, as they were orphans 70 years back.

nono this post has nothing to do with my mom.

Finally i can get a full 8-hour sleep from today onwards. No more assignments, no more test, no more report ( i think).

But exams are coming in two weeks time.

seriously, i couldn't understand why i would ever take remote sensing module. With the fact that i have stopped touching any shit regarding physics after o levels,  I should have been careful that this remote sensing is a physics module and i shouldn't have read it. But i was 'gladly' convinced by my friends to take this module, because " it's a GEM, it should be simple. Somemore it's science. we should be able to score it "

Damn. i should have rejected them.

Now i am stuck into this shit project to find things about Kulim. Ya. Kulim. I bet none of you know what/where is kulim. Seriously, i have to say i was again 'gladly convinced' by my partner to take up this project, when there were other nicer and slightly easier ones to attempt. I have searched the whole google regarding the info i wanted to kulim, but only that little bit of pieces about that place which is not enough for a 10-page essay.

And it's due this coming tues.

and i am having a PMS now. because the white shorts i bought from Espirit is disfigured by my house iron with a UN-REMOVABLE THICK line on it. and now i have one less berms to wear. knn. thanks to people in the house who like to iron black non-cotton clothing at the highest heat, thus black patches got stuck onto the iron. DUMB. they are really dumb. no common sense.

nono. not 6 days to school holidays (but soon). I just have to endure another 6 days, and i am done with plant physiology project cum presentation, microbiology CA and gen. physiology CA. They happen to fall very near to each other, so i had been veryyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy busy for the past 2-3 weeks.

of course, 6 days later is not rest time. I still have another 40% project to finish, which i have put on my desk to collect dust for a long time because of the plant physio presentation, and another essay assignment to write within a week.

ok back to work!

so the recess week's over. Everything is back to square one. I was relieved that I didn't have to study so much like the others. Heh heh, i only have one test to study and it's only three chapters. Phew... 

But i realized my organizer has a lot of work noted down for the next 5 weeks. I don't know if i have purposely filled my organizer so full. Maybe it's the only way to get myself back on track and focus for another 2 months before the december kicks in!

i thought the primary school boy crossing the road and holding an inverted umbrella was quite embarassing.

it was worse when my slippers stuck to the ground while i was walking fast in the heavy rain. and i hate to walk back 2 steps bare footed to wear my slippers on again.
